The deadline for submissions to SIGGRAPH Asia 2013 Computer Animation Festival is fast approaching.
To submit your work to Computer Animation Festival you need to create an account in the SIGGRAPH Asia 2013 online submission system at http://sis.siggraph.org/cgi-bin/SIS_Asia.py
All submissions must be received by 2 July 2013, 23:59(UTC/GMT).

If you have already submitted your entry to Computer Animation Festival, please make sure that all necessary materials related to your submission should be completed by this deadline.

Impossible is a mission for a filmmaker The Cannes 2013 Edition

Daazo.com - The European Short Film Centre announces a film contest for all the participants of Festival de Cannes’ Short Film Corner 2013 and for all the talents of the short film world.

Organized by the Festival de Cannes, the Short Film Corner is the essential rendez-vous for filmmakers. Since 2004, short film producers and directors have chosen the Short Film Corner as the place to present their films, make meetings reality and take decisive steps for their future careers. Just as the Short Film Corner, Daazo.com is also a hub for talented filmmakers. On Daazo.com you can follow and "like" others, upload and share your films in high quality and take part in contests like the Impossible Film Contest.

Now Daazo.com would like to give another chance for filmmakers to get more visibility and to compete for valuable prizes. Besides the talents of Short Film Corner, our contest is open to all other filmmakers as well.

The prizes are:

- pre-production filmmaking software by Production Minds (worth approx. $400)

- the winning film featured in the Daazo Sales Portfolio for free

- VODmania Distribution Contract

- Daazo Gift

In order to submit your film to the Impossible Film Contest you need to do the following:

- register to Daazo.com with you Facebook account (if your are not already a registered member of the website)

- pay the registration fee by clicking on the PayPal button: early bird €9.99 (deadline: 10th June), just in time: €16.99 (deadline: 11th June to 24th June) late runners: €19.99 (25th June to 1st July)

- go to Daazo.com/impossible2013 (if you read this, you are here already)

- if you have a short film already on Daazo.com you want to submit, just click on the submit button in the upper right corner of the site

- if you want to submit a new film, please click on the “upload one” button in the upper right corner of the site

- read the uploading instructions in the right column of the upload manager site and upload your film.

- fill out all fields of the “basic” tab of the upload manager site and set your film to “public”. Click “save”!

You can always check your submission under the “submissions” tab of the upload/edit film site. here you can submit manually later if you want.

Balkanima

Dear friends,

10th European Animated Film Festival Balkanima 2013, Belgrade, Serbia will take place in Student’s City Cultural Center from 1^st  till 5^th  of October 2013. On our internet site www.balkanima.org you will find on line entry form and rules. Pay attention to separated entry forms for student individual films and program of film schools/workshops. After you fill in entry form you will get your ID film number which should be clearly indicate on a DVD copy for pre-selection. Deadline for sending films is 10^h of August (date of postmark), so we are hoping that you will send us your works as soon as possible. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask us by this e-mail address.

Short Film Corner

Show your talent to the world of shorts!
Upload your film for a chance to be highlighted at the Cannes Film Festival's Short Film Corner and in the Cannes issue of World of Shorts magazine.

Daazo presents the World of Shorts film contest in cooperation with Cineuropa.

The members of the Jury are: the founders of Daazo, Domenico La Porta from Cineuropa. Other prestigious Jury members will be confirmed soon.

The winner of the Daazo prize will be highlighted in Daazo's sales portfolio at the Short Film Corner and featured in the Cannes issue of World of Shorts magazine which will be distributed at the venues of the Cannes Film Festival and the Marché du Film (market).

The winning films and their directors will be featured on Cineuropa.

More valuable prizes will be confirmed at a later date.
